Site Care: website care after launch
Site Care is Elimenti's website care plan: edits, new pages, events, prices and photos, turned around in five business days, for $175 a month or $85 an hour. It covers the custom-coded sites we build and existing WordPress sites built by someone else, so you can keep a working site current without rebuilding it.
Two ways to pay
- Monthly
- $175 a month. The plan we recommend, for businesses whose site changes regularly. It covers up to four updates a month, each an hour or less.
- Hourly
- $85 an hour, for one-off edits. You get an estimate before the work starts.
- Turnaround
- Five business days from when we have what we need.
- Not included
- Hosting and your domain, which are in your name and billed to you directly. A full redesign is its own project.
What Site Care covers
- Edits. Hours, prices, staff, services, menus, policies: anything in the copy that has changed.
- New pages and sections. A new treatment, a finished project, a new service line, an event.
- Photos. New images sized and compressed so the site stays fast.
- Search basics. Titles, descriptions and structured data for every new page, the same standard as launch.
- Small layout changes. Moving, adding or retiring a section without redesigning the page.
For sites we build
Elimenti sites are custom-coded, so there's no dashboard to log into. That's a big part of why they stay fast and don't break. When something needs to change, you email it to us, and it's live within five business days. You talk to the person who built the site, not a ticket queue.
For existing WordPress sites
Plenty of businesses have a WordPress site that works and just needs someone to keep it current. We take those on, built by any firm. Before changing anything, we learn how the theme, page builder and plugins fit together, and we make sure a current backup exists.
That's how we work with ABN Construction Group, a Lombard general contractor: ongoing care of its existing site, with an hour estimate before every task and a new Automotive section in progress. For Burdi Clothing in Hinsdale, we make targeted edits to its existing site, such as event pages for its car shows.

Questions about Site Care
Do I need the monthly plan?
No. The $175 monthly plan suits businesses whose site changes most months, and it covers up to four updates a month, each an hour or less. If you only need an occasional change, pay $85 an hour for the work you ask for, with an estimate first.
Can you take over a WordPress site someone else built?
Yes. We maintain existing WordPress sites built by other firms. We start by learning the theme, page builder and plugins and confirming there's a current backup, then we make changes without touching what already works. If maintenance would cost more than a rebuild, we'll tell you.
Does Site Care include hosting?
No. Your hosting and domain stay in your name and on your own accounts, and you pay those providers directly. That way you're never locked in to Elimenti, and the site keeps running whether or not you're on a care plan.
