Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 3, 2026
Elimenti ("Elimenti," "we," "us") is a web design studio based in Hinsdale, Illinois. This policy explains what information we collect through elimenti.com (the "Site") and in the course of working with you, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have a question about any of it, email us at hello@elimenti.com.
The short version: we collect what you choose to send us, we use it to reply to you and do the work, we don't run analytics or ad tracking on this Site, and we don't sell your information.
What we collect
Information you send us. When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, business name, and, if you choose to add them, your website, budget, how you found us, and your message. We also receive whatever you send us directly by email, phone, text, or on a video call.
Information from clients. If you hire us, we'll receive the information needed to do the project and get paid: contact details, the content and files for your site, access to accounts we need to work in (such as your domain, hosting, or WordPress login), and billing details. How that information is handled during a project is also covered by your written agreement with us.
Technical information. Like nearly every website, the Site's hosting and security providers automatically receive basic technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. We use this only to deliver and secure the Site.
We don't use analytics tools, advertising pixels, session recording, or any other tracking on the Site.
How we use it
We use the information above to:
- reply to your inquiry and set up a call;
- prepare proposals and do the work you hire us for;
- send invoices and keep financial records;
- keep the Site and our systems secure and free of spam; and
- meet our legal and tax obligations.
If you contact us, we may follow up with you about your inquiry or project. We won't add you to a marketing newsletter without asking.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do that job:
- Web3Forms, which delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox and uses spam-filtering services to block junk submissions. Web3Forms states that it retains submissions for up to three years.
- GitHub (GitHub Pages), which hosts the Site and logs visitor IP addresses for security purposes.
- Cloudflare, which provides DNS, content delivery, and security for the Site.
- Our email, calendar, and video-call providers, which carry our conversations with you.
- Payment processors and banks, such as Stripe, when you pay an invoice.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Site itself does not set cookies and does not store anything in your browser. Our fonts and images are hosted on our own domain, so loading a page doesn't send your information to font or image services.
Cloudflare, our security provider, may place a small number of strictly necessary cookies (for example, __cf_bm) to tell real visitors apart from bots. These are used only for security, are not used for advertising or tracking, and generally expire quickly. Because we don't use non-essential cookies, there is no cookie banner to accept.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We don't track visitors over time or across other websites, and we don't allow third parties to do so on the Site. Because of that, the Site behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and project information for as long as we need it to respond to you, work with you, and support the work after launch, and we keep financial records for as long as tax and legal obligations require. After that, we delete it. Our service providers keep data according to their own policies (Web3Forms, for example, as noted above).
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it by emailing hello@elimenti.com. We'll respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may keep information we're legally required to retain, such as invoices. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's law; we'll honor them as that law requires. We won't treat you differently for making a request.
How we protect it
The Site is served only over HTTPS. We limit access to your information to what's needed to do the work, and we use reputable providers with strong security practices. No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Children
The Site and our services are for businesses. They're not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Where your information is processed
We're based in the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries (Web3Forms, for example, operates from India and uses infrastructure providers in several regions). By using the Site, you understand that your information may be processed outside the state or country where you live.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above. If a change materially affects how we use information we've already collected, we'll make a reasonable effort to let affected clients know.
