Web design for Chicago's western suburbs
Elimenti designs and custom-codes websites for high-end independent businesses across Chicago's western suburbs, including Burr Ridge, Western Springs, Clarendon Hills, Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn and Naperville. Projects start at $3,000 and run over video calls. Every town sells a little differently, so each section below covers what a website has to do there.
Towns with their own page
Burr Ridge
Burr Ridge pairs a lifestyle center with office parks and large residential lots. Burr Ridge Village Center gathers restaurants, shops and wellness businesses, including the Kohler Waters Spa, in one place. For a spa, salon or restaurant there, the site competes with everything else in the center, so it has to give someone a reason to choose you before they arrive: what you do, what it costs, and how to book. Design-build and landscape firms serving the area's larger properties need the opposite, a site that shows finished work at its best. Websites for landscape firms →
Western Springs
Downtown Western Springs runs along Burlington and Hillgrove Avenues, with shops, cafes and restaurants, many of them locally owned, and the Theatre of Western Springs a few blocks away. Customers are often neighbors who already know your name. The site's job is practical: current hours, what's new, how to book, and proof that you look as good online as you do on the street. For the town's design studios, the portfolio is the pitch. Websites for interior designers →
Clarendon Hills
Clarendon Hills has a small downtown around its Metra station, and the village has spent the past few years planning what that downtown becomes next. The downtown is compact, so for anyone outside the village, a website is how they find a business there at all. For the builders and contractors who work on the village's homes, that means a gallery that does the selling. Websites for home builders →
Elmhurst
Downtown Elmhurst's City Centre is anchored by the York Theatre, which opened in 1924 and now runs ten screens, with independent galleries, boutiques and restaurants around it. It's a downtown people make an evening of, which means they plan it on a phone first. A boutique or restaurant there needs hours, location and what makes it worth the trip on the first screen. Glen Ellyn
Downtown Glen Ellyn's oldest commercial blocks, on Main Street between Crescent Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue, make up the Glen Ellyn Downtown North Historic District, added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2013. Twenty-eight of its thirty-four buildings count toward its historic character. For a shop, studio or restaurant in a district like that, the website should carry the same sense of place as the storefront: real photos of the space, current hours and a way to book or order from a phone. Websites for boutiques →
Naperville
Downtown Naperville has more than 300 businesses around the DuPage River and its 1.75-mile Riverwalk, according to the Downtown Naperville Alliance, with independent shops next to national chains. With that much choice, a business there gets compared side by side, often on a phone, often in the same evening. The independents that win look distinct and answer the obvious questions fast. Chicago, and anywhere else
Every Elimenti project runs over video calls, so distance doesn't change the process or the price. We built the site for 1 of 1 Car Club, a Porsche club based in Chicago and Dallas, and we take projects anywhere in the US. Close to home, we know the towns, the customers and the competition.
Pricing and next step
Projects start at $3,000, and most land between $3,500 and $4,500. Copywriting, a basic SEO setup and up to three rounds of revisions are included, and the site is yours after the final payment. See pricing and process →
