What a med spa website costs
A custom med spa website costs a few thousand dollars or more to build, plus yearly costs for the domain, hosting, booking software and updates. At Elimenti, projects start at $3,000 and most land between $3,500 and $4,500. The price rises with the number of different page types, new photography and anything beyond a link to your booking platform.

What the market charges
Published prices vary widely:
- Building it yourself on Squarespace costs $19 to $99 a month on a yearly plan, plus your time.
- Agencies in general: Shopify's 2026 cost guide, citing a GoodFirms survey, reports that 63% of agencies quoted between $1,000 and $15,000 for custom design and development.
- A Chicago agency's published tiers: $6,500 to $9,500 for a starter build, $13,500 to $20,000 for a larger one and $25,000 and up for a fully custom site.
- Elimenti: from $3,000, with most projects between $3,500 and $4,500, copywriting included.
Much of the spread comes from what's in each quote. Two prices are only comparable once you know what each one includes.
What you're paying for
| Part of the site | What it involves | Effect on price |
|---|---|---|
| Treatment pages | One page per treatment: what it is, who it suits, who performs it, recovery and a starting price | One design serves them all; the writing grows with the count |
| Provider pages | Credentials and training for each injector or provider | Small, mostly writing |
| Before-and-after gallery | Consented photos placed on the treatment page they belong to | Design is simple; gathering written consent is the real work |
| Booking | A link or button to your booking platform on every page | A link is simple; a custom integration is scoped separately |
| Photography | Your space, your team and your treatment rooms | Optional; ours is $85 an hour |
| Visual identity | A new logo, typefaces and colors | Quoted per project; adds time too |
A worked example
A twelve-page med spa site: a home page, an about page, one page for the providers, seven treatment pages built from one design, a before-and-after gallery and a booking and contact page. The figures below use our published rates, with the build at $4,000 as an example inside our usual range.
| First-year cost | Amount | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Design, copy and build | $4,000 | Example within our usual $3,500 to $4,500; the exact price comes in writing |
| Photography, four hours | $340 | Optional, at $85 an hour |
| Site Care for twelve months | $2,100 | Optional, at $175 a month; or pay $85 an hour as needed |
| Domain, hosting and booking software | Varies | Billed to you directly by those companies |
| Total from us | $6,440 | Or $4,000 with only the build |
Every year after the first, only the recurring lines remain: your domain, hosting and booking software, plus Site Care if you keep it.
The patient-privacy line items
Two parts of a med spa site touch patient information, and both are cheaper to get right at the start.
- Before-and-after photos. Federal HIPAA rules say a covered entity must get a patient's authorization before using their protected health information for marketing. A health care provider is a covered entity if it sends health information electronically in connection with standard transactions, such as insurance claims. A recognizable photo of a treatment result can be protected health information. Whether your practice is covered is a question for your compliance advisor. Our approach is the same either way: only photos from patients who agreed in writing.
- Forms. A website contact form is for "I'd like to book a consultation", not for medical history. Intake questions belong in your booking or patient platform, which is built for them. Keeping the website form short keeps sensitive details off it.
Ways to spend less without looking cheaper
- Launch with your core treatments. Start with the treatments that bring in most of your bookings and add pages later through Site Care.
- Use the photos you have. If they're sharp and true to the space, a design can be built around them.
- Link to booking instead of rebuilding it. Your booking platform usually handles scheduling and reminders already.
- Settle the logo first. A site built around a finished identity is faster to design.
Common questions
Is a template site cheaper for a med spa?
Up front, yes: Squarespace plans run $19 to $99 a month on a yearly plan. You pay with your own time instead, and the result looks like the template it came from. Our platform guide compares the options.
Do I have to pay every month?
Not to us. Site Care is optional. Your domain, hosting and booking software are billed by those companies, usually monthly or yearly.
How long does a med spa website take?
Most Elimenti projects launch four to six weeks after kickoff. Gathering written consent for before-and-after photos takes time of its own, so start early. How long a custom website takes →
