Harrow & Finch is a full-service interior design studio in Western Springs. We design whole homes, and the rooms that matter most, for families in Western Springs, Hinsdale, La Grange and the western suburbs.

We take on a few projects each season and see each one through, from the first floor plan to the last picture hung.

A 1920s house with good bones and a dark, chopped-up main floor. We opened the plan, kept the original fireplaces and furnished four rooms around the way the family actually lives.

How we work

Four phases, in writing

Every project follows the same order, so you always know what's happening, what's next and what it costs. The full process

  1. One

    Consultation

    A walk through your home and a conversation about how you live in it.

    90 minutes

  2. Two

    Design

    Floor plans, materials and furniture, presented together in one meeting.

    6 to 10 weeks

  3. Three

    Procurement

    We order, track and receive everything, and handle what goes wrong.

    10 to 16 weeks

  4. Four

    Installation

    We install the rooms in a day or two. You come home to them finished.

    1 to 2 days
